
Mukesh is a co-founder of the SME Investment Bank, a platform that enables entrepreneurs to raise early-stage capital in the range of US$100k-US$3m from a dedicated investor network. He also provides Business Startup services focused on launching market validated business models and create business plans used for executing the growth strategy and securing external funding. Mukesh is a mentor at CIIE as part of a MentorEdge network. He is also an advisor to Villgro, a Chennai based impact focused incubator that funds and supports innovative business models in health, energy, agriculture, education and other grass root focused businesses. Mukesh is currently advising several start-ups and is an independent nominee to the board of Biosense Technologies Private Limited, a CIIE and Villgro incubatee. Mukesh is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA charter holder. He has earlier managed a private equity portfolio (AUM US$250m ) and led investment banking mandates (US$200m ). He has worked on transactions and advised entrepreneurs in India, Middle-East, North Africa, Eastern Europe and South-East Asia. Mukesh has dealt with all type of investors (SWFs, institutional investors, family offices, HNIs, foundations, endowments & angel investors).
Objectives
Identify and support innovative business models and passionate entrepreneurs. Work with startups to develop realistic and market validated business plan that would assist them in scaling and raising external funding.
